Once I became aware of the benefits
of soy I began the process of developing
a clean burning container candle. Burning
habits are also important with container

The Staff
The Palmetto Moonlighting staff has grown
through the 9 years I have been in
business. No one has ever left the
company or been fired (well maybe once or
twice).
UPDATE 2006..my staff are now all in school and

My
family and I worship at Messiah Lutheran
Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. This
small business has been a huge blessing
to my family in many ways. I have many
testimonies of God’s hand in my
candle business.
I often hear how
bazaar it is that my name is so similar
to Candle Lover. I even gets checks
written to me that way. People do not
believe this is my real name. I know that
it is not a coincidence that I make
candles, it is a God-incidence. This gift
of candle making came to me in a season
of my life that saved me (and my family)
in many ways. I must remind myself daily
of this verse - Colossians3:23
"Whatever you do, work at it with all
your heart, as working for the LORD, not for
men."
